Hi friends, I wanted to share this with you because lately I’ve been reflecting. Many of you will be aware that recently I packed up my belongings and moved for a new adventure. These days you will find me tucked up in a self-sustainable eco-friendly farm in Portugal where I’m inspired to eventually welcome guests to experience the benefit of natural health in the glorious surroundings. That is – once I have managed to bring the land back to it’s glory, organise the water supply and fix the dodgy electrics. I have a lot of work to do but I’m sure it will be absolutely worth it. I’m looking forward to reaping the benefits of the hard work, and that brings me to the point of this blog.
Recently, I’ve found myself reflecting on health and my journey as a health mentor. There is something that I constantly find to be true, and that is that people are rarely willing to make their health a priority until it is too late. They wait for a health crisis, a scare, or worse, a damning diagnosis, before they are inspired to put in the hard work.
I have found, so many times, that people are in need of my support to reverse damage and regain health, when their journey would have been so much easier if they had just taken preventative measures in the first place. We know that prevention is better than cure, but we allow ourselves to be busied with life, family, career and anything else. We put ourselves in second, third, fourth – last place. We favour convenience over nurturing ourselves. We take our health for granted.
I have had enough! I am absolutely sick of it!
I am making it my mission to support people with PREVENTION. If only we made our health a priority early, we wouldn’t need to battle against poor health later on. It is never too late to change our ways and make positive changes that last a lifetime.
And so, I am happy – no, delighted! – to introduce my core health programme, designed to focus on preventative care and give my clients the knowledge, understanding and support that they need to make long-lasting positive change NOW.
